Bagh Nakh
The Baghnakh or in English means that claw of Tiger and that
Baghnakh is the originating from the Indian subcontinent. Baghnakh is weapon of
close fight and this weapon is very small so hide this wapon in anywhere.
Baghnakh design to fit over the knuckles or be concealed under and against the
palm. It consists of four or five curved blades affixed to a crossbar or glove,
and designed to slash though skin and muscle. It is believed to have been
inspired by the armament of big cats like tiger, lion, etc.
History
There are conflicting report of the time
period that many books and story of ancient text to explain this weapon in
which the baghnakh first appeared. Poisoned baghnakh had been used by the
Rajput clans for Assassinations. The most well-known usage of the weapon was by
the first Maratha emperor Chatrapati Shivaji Maharaj who used a baghnakh to
defeat the Bijapur general Afzal Khan who was the most famous general of
Aurangzeb the emperor of Mughal dynasty.
Chatrapati Shivaji Maharaj and afzalkhan was meet together alone no army and no
weapon deal but in Afzal khan was took sword in left side of his shirt and they
hug each other this time the Afzal khan took weapon and towards the Chatrapati
Shivaji Maharaj but this see already Shivaji Maharaj and they took bagh nakh
and to smash in chest so that Afzal khan was dead and one that Shivaji Maharaj
was shorter than the Afzal khan so this benefit to the victory over the Afzal
khan and conquered the Bijapur and Mughal empire who covers half of the Indian
subcontinent this fallen start to this victory of the Chatrapati Shivaji
Maharaj and then that later on the grow a Maratha Kingdom and takeover Mughal empire.
